Coquitlam is an attractive urban community in Metro Vancouver and is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in BC. With a population of approximately 140,000, Coquitlam is the sixth largest municipality in Metro Vancouver. It has beautiful parks, interesting festivals, shopping centres and nature. Coquitlam is one of the “Tri-Cities”, along with the neighbouring suburbs of Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.

About 44% of Coquitlam residents were foreign-born, the median income in 2015 for all families was $65,020.
